2013 Kia Drive Change Judges

Maria Soklis: Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Kia Canada

Ms. Soklis is literally the ‘driving force’ behind Kia Canada’s ‘Drive Change’ campaign. The 2012 inaugural recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for dedicated service to peers, community and Canada, her resilient support of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) also lead to Ms. Soklis being awarded the 2012 MADD Canada’s Citizen of Distinction Award for making a major contribution to the anti-drinking and driving movement in Canada. Pioneering many of Kia Canada’s charitable commitments including Kia Canada’s Habit for Humanity Sponsorship, Ms. Soklis was a proud sponsor of the Habitat Toronto Women’s build Initiative in 2009. A supporter of Northern Ontario Women’s and Men’s Business Awards, Ms. Soklis urges others to actively make a positive difference in their local communities.

Sunni is a strong believer in participating in the community and giving back to that community. Organizing food and clothing drives as well as directing charitable gifting to community organizations whose contributions “hit the street” the next day are a priority.

After joining the revered Entertainment Tonight brand, Rick became known for offering the Canadian viewers an inside scoop on the latest celebrity gossip, current affairs and pop culture trends. And in addition to his ET Canada responsibilities, Campanelli is involved with numerous charitable organizations, television related affairs, and for the third year is a proud supporter and Ambassador of the Kia Canada’s Drive Change Day campaign.
